Hello Fellow Travellers!
Welcome to the ongoing saga that is THE WATERFALL JOURNEY (TWFJ). Let’s bring you up to date!
Before these strange times began, there were prophecies about 2020 and the decade to come that predicted the upheaval we are seeing. Internationally recognised prophets have been predicting the shaking are experiencing for many years; Margaret, a dear friend, shared an encounter with God just before she died, and a Prophetic conference attended by Stephen, Prudence and I in Feb 2020 underlined the chaos to come, but that God was in it and that a Kingdom harvest would result.
All of us who are travelling on the Waterfall Journey know the life changing re-focusing that happens when we join God in His story. We have experienced God’s on-going healing and transformation and been released into the freedom that Jesus died to give us. We are growing in the knowledge of HOW to live in the presence of the Father and also HOW to co-operate with the Holy Spirit as He transforms us into all we were destined to be for our God.
There is a significance to this ministry that brings people to life in discipleship and into the fullness of being a child of God, with a destiny to fulfil, that will advance the Kingdom and Christ’s return. TWFJ ministry is a tool for the promised harvest.
So what has been going on since lockdown? Well the first thing that happened was the cancellation of courses that were planned in Cornwall and Worcester. Though that was disappointing, we needed to look for God’s way forward. In the early days of the lockdown I was still playing a big part in running the church I attended, so Zoom became THE THING. What a blessing but what a challenge!!!! As the months have gone on the technological challenges have multiplied - not helped for me by a failing computer!!!
So where has God led us?? Well in April God made it clear it was time to give up church leadership and to concentrate on TWFJ. This was exciting because it carried the promise of TWFJ expanding to be a greater force. It is only one of many ways to Father’s heart but it IS God’s heart we share.
We produced a weekly Bible Study course on the Biblical Foundations of TWFJ including powerpoints and leaders’ notes. This will be followed through the winter months with a study on the Tools of Transformation, and the third maybe, on What a disciple needs to know.
On Facebook and email I gathered a group of over a hundred people that have been impacted by TWFJ and I hope will be champions for its spread. Meanwhile Charlie Metcalfe generously began helping create the new website and her expertise and infinite patience mean we are here now. My idea for the web site was that it should be a resource centre for those who wished to share TWFJ and pass the blessing onward. Behind that statement are any number of meltdowns for me over technical matters but we are inching towards the goal. I learn everything so slowly with many mistakes but I guess God has got that factored in!!!
The web site will have a regular blog to keep us up to date with what is going on in the ministry and a Community page for testimonies and things to encourage and share. Contributions would not only be welcome but will be the life essence of how we move forward. This ministry is made up of God’s insights given to many people and then shared.
I have not yet sorted out the cache of resources, but now I have a new computer, I am working on it.
In September Mark, Alina and I ran a WFJ weekend course with an amended timetable on Zoom as a trial run. This is possible and, thanks to the people who attended, we got some very helpful feedback which makes us believe that we can usefully do this over Zoom in future. In October I further split the course into two hour slots, across five days with just 3 people. That was very also effective.
BOTH THESE TRIALS MAKE US BELIEVE WE CAN READILY OFFER SMALL GROUPS THESE COURSES IN A VARIETY OF WAYS. - do contact us if you would like to discuss how we can do this in your situation - thewaterfalljourney@gmail.com
As we go on we will try and keep the web site relevant. Mark is helping with this and we hope to have a small team to assist. If you are web site savvy and feel called to help please let us know.
Be blessed as you travel.
